Preach for transformation – not just information

Every preacher wants to see Gods Word impact their congregation. We wrestle with meaning, check the original Greek, and consult commentaries to make sure were faithful, articulate, and gospel-driven . But what if, in our diligence, were neglecting application, leaving our listeners informed rather than transformed?

Richard Coekin is passionate about application and candidly shares his own mistakes and growth in preaching over the past thirty years. Writing for both new and experienced preachers, Coekin lays out what good application is, what its not, and how to develop in this vital area so congregations dont just hear the Word, but are equipped to put it into practice.

Why you’ll love Apply the Word by Richard Coekin:

1. Deeply practical – Drawing on years of experience, Richard gets into the nuts and bolts of preaching with application.
2. Spotlights a neglected area – Strengthen your preaching where many sermons fall short, so that it lands on Sunday and Monday.
3. For every preacher: Decades into ministry? Pick up some helpful new ideas. Just starting out? This will set you on the right course.
